RISIBELLO Charity Foundation is a non-profit and non-political organization, officially registered as an Incorporated Trustee under Section 823 of the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA), 2020. Although formally registered on 11th June, 2024, the Foundation is built on over twenty (20) years of consistent philanthropic service and personal commitment to humanity by its Founder, Tpl. Mrs. Bello Risikat Bukola (FNITP, MRTPI). Over the years, she has been a strong pillar within the field of Urban and Regional Planning, the broader built environment, and various aspects of community development across Nigeria.

Through her longstanding dedication, she has made a profound and far-reaching impact on individuals and communities by:
• Providing Educational Funding: Supporting students and young individuals to access quality education, thereby promoting knowledge, growth, and empowerment
• Supporting Empowerment Initiatives: Assisting professionals, members of institutions, and communities to develop their capacities and improve their livelihoods
• Creating Awareness: Promoting understanding of critical societal and professional issues, inspiring positive change within communities

These sustained efforts and personal initiatives have now been institutionalized into the RISIBELLO Charity Foundation, transforming a legacy of individual generosity into a structured and sustainable platform for broader impact.

The Foundation represents a beacon of hope, compassion, and service, reflecting a deep commitment to improving lives through education, empowerment, mentorship, and community support. It stands as a testament to the transformative power of kindness, dedication, and professional excellence.

INSPIRATION AND SUPPORT
The establishment of the RISIBELLO Charity Foundation was inspired by strong personal values and influential figures, notably:
• Her late father, Alhaji Ayanda Sanni-Omotosho
• Her late brother, Mr. Tajudeen Sanni-Omotosho
Their legacies of compassion, integrity, and service to humanity played a significant role In shaping the vision of the Foundation.
The formal registration of the Foundation in 2024 was further encouraged and supported by a professional colleague, mentee, and sister, Tpl. Yemisi Olayinka Alaka, whose encouragement contributed to institutionalizing the Founder’s long-standing philanthropic efforts.
In addition, the unwavering support of her family has been instrumental in the realization of this vision, particularly:
• Her husband: Alhaji Muritala Olanrewaju Bello
• Her children: Biola Mariam Bello-Adetona, Busayo Kaosara Bello, and Mistura Boluwatife Bello
Their encouragement and support have provided a strong foundation for the growth and sustainability of the organization.

RISIBELLO Charity Foundation is therefore positioned as a purpose-driven organization committed to empowering individuals, supporting communities, and promoting sustainable development through structured programmes in education, capacity building, mentorship, and humanitarian services.

The Foundation continues to build on its legacy by expanding its reach, strengthening partnerships, and delivering impactful interventions across Nigeria and beyond.

AIM: EMPOWERING DESERVING STUDENTS AND INDIVIDUALS WITH ABILITIES AND VULNERABLE BACKGROUNDS IN NIGERIA BY PROMOTING INCLUSIVITY, EQUITY, AND CARE THROUGH EDUCATIONAL ADVANCEMENT, CAPACITY BUILDING AND MENTORSHIP PROGRAMMES IN THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT AND OTHER FIELDS.

OBJECTIVES:

1. SCHOLARSHIPS AND EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES:
Provide Scholarships and Educational Resources to Deserving Students/Individuals in the field of Urban and Regional Planning, Related Fields in Built environment, and other fields both Locally and Internationally.

2. CAPACITY BUILDING AND YOUTH EMPOWERMENT:
Organize Workshops, Training, and Capacity-Building Programs to equip Students, Individuals and Organizations to achieve Skills and Knowledge needed to succeed and drive positive changes.

3. INITIATIVE SUPPORT: Support Funding for Initiatives on Training, Research, Conferences, and Consultation on Urban and Regional Planning and Related Fields in the Built Environment, both Locally and Internationally.
4. AWARENESS AND PROMOTION: Promote Awareness and understanding of these activities through Meetings, Courses, Conferences, Seminars, and Publications (books, guides, journals, articles, etc.) in these fields.
5. GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE PROTECTION: Promoting gender equality, and building a violence-free society in Nigeria through Educational empowerment in the Private and Public Sectors.

6. INCLUSIVITY AND CARE: We celebrate and promote diversity, inclusiveness, we also demonstrate care and compassion for the vulnerable groups -needy, widows and elders, promoting a culture of empathy and support.
